On Friday, Feb. 28, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Dakota State Bison.

The game took place at U.S. Bank Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bison this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium against Wagner Seahawks.
