On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Duke Blue Devils.

The game took place at Big League Dreams Sports Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Devils this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Big League Dreams Sports Park against Tennessee Lady Volunteers.
