On Saturday, March 15, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The game took place at Devon Park. This was their first matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Devon Park against Penn State Nittany Lions.
