On Friday, Feb. 14, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisville Cardinals.

The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 9 a.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against Louisville Cardinals.
