On Sunday, March 9, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.

The game took place at Tiger Park. This was their second matchup against the Jaguars this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Tiger Park against LSU Lady Tigers.
