On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.

The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 11:15 a.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against Louisville Cardinals.
