On Friday, Feb. 7, former Great Crossing High School standout Seth Benner’s current college team, the Carson-Newman Eagles, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2:50 p.m. at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
