On Saturday, March 1, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 9-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at U.S. Bank Stadium. This was their second matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 11:30 a.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium against North Dakota State Bison.
