On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Villanova Wildcats.

The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8:30 a.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against North Carolina State Wolfpack.
