Fall Open Studios is almost here! Please join me and 300 other artists next weekend Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th from 11am-6pm at Hunters Point Shipyard for our annual open house. My studio is in Building 115 (by the parking lot), Studio 7. I am excited to show both large and small new work. The event is free, family and dog friendly, and there is free onsite parking.
I will once again have selected work priced at “pay what you want” - with a portion of sales donated to The LGBT Asylum Project, a local nonprofit that helps LGBTQ refugees seeking asylum. This is a great opportunity to both add to your collection and support a fantastic organization doing important work.
There will be food available by Lets Be Frank, Big H BBQ, and The Storehouse in The Bayview Opera House's Beer and Wine Garden, as well as live music on Saturday at 1PM by Navy Band Southwest (7-member brass band), at 2PM by Dwayne Charles Project (Jazz, R&B) and by La Clandestina Bay on Sunday afternoon.
