Census Bureau: More women than men in Paris in 2020

Of the 9,776 people living in Paris in 2020, 51.6 percent (5,045) were women and 48.4 percent (4,731) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Bluegrass News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 177. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,064 females and 588 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
