On Sunday, April 27, former Great Crossing High School standout Nani Valencia’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Fighting Hawks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against Michigan Wolverines.
