On Tuesday, Feb. 4, former Great Crossing High School standout Seth Benner’s current college team, the Carson-Newman Eagles, won 18-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shorter Hawks.

The game took place at Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
